How long have you been in business?
Silent Blessings was founded in 1996.
What is your primary product or service?
We produce Christian videos in American Sign Language (ASL) for Deaf children and their families. Our primary focus at present is a weekly TV series for children currently airing on TBN, Daystar, and a number of other Christian networks. The series is called Dr. Wonder's Workshop and it's the most accessible program ever developed for children. It is performed entirely in ASL by an all Deaf cast. But it also includes a full audio track with music, sound effects, and voice overs in English, and captioning in English and Spanish. Seasons one through four are currently available on DVD as well.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our founder and Executive Director, Marshall Lawrence, is the father of a Deaf daughter. She is grown now and works part time in ministry herself.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are not a Deaf church or suppliers of interpretive services. We are the only media ministry in Indianapolis focusing on developing new Christian video resources for ministry in the Deaf community. We collaborate with a number of other national and local Deaf ministries in that effort. We also seek to raise awareness in the wider church of the need for greater Christian outreach to Deaf families.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only one office. No plans to expand.

We are located in the Northeast Business Complex, between I-69 and the Castleton Mall.
What type of payments do you accept?
All major credit cards, check and cash.
Which areas do you service?
Nationwide. The series is also viewed in countries around the world on satellite.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
We're a nonprofit tax exempt ministry. Contributions are income tax deductible.
What are your hours of operation?
General office hours are 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
That we communicate the message of Christ in creatives ways that are true to His spirit and His desires.
